How to Create Your Dream Life
Lavendaire (Mock Up)
Are you tired of feeling lost in life?
Have you ever felt that tight feeling in your chest while your mind races endlessly? You’re not alone…
It seems like all of your friends have their lives together. Great careers, social lives, marriages, and ugh… maybe even kids!
Yet, you’re still here on the sidelines wondering “when did everyone stop thinking about hanging out on the weekend?” They’re off planning weddings or even day trips to the zoo with their children, and that overwhelming feeling starts to grow. Your mind starts reeling, and once again, you feel even further behind in life.
Sometimes you feel like you don’t even know who you are. You don’t know what to do even though you feel you need to do something, anything to get this suffocating feeling to go away.
You want to change. But where to start?
It Feels Like No One Else Gets It…
But Aileen Xu does. She understands the struggle of self-growth, and that when you’re working on yourself and towards your ideal life - it’s easy to fall off track. But, what matters most is what you do next…
Aileen teaches us in three easy steps.
Reflect. Reset. Realign.
Step One: Reflect
Breathe. Now, think about what’s been weighing on your mind lately. What’s been holding you back? What do you want more of in your life? What do you want less of? Aileen recommends journaling your thoughts and feelings down. I know… kinda cliché. I thought so too - but she’s right.
Grab a pen and closest paper product even if it’s a napkin from the breakfast you barely ate. Write down the first thoughts that come into your mind and get this…it doesn’t have to make sense.
The most important part is that you start.
Step Two: Reset
Release everything that is holding you back. Thoughts, old beliefs, toxic habits. Anything that weighs you down or makes you feel bad.
It’s like pressing the reset button on your life. You’re creating space for something new.
Aileen says maybe that’s taking a break, slowing down to recharge, or stepping back from commitments. Let yourself reset and rest without guilt because the person you’re becoming deserves it.
You deserve it.
Step Three: Realign
Ask yourself: What do I truly want? Who do I want to become? Figure out what matters most to you then make your thoughts and choices align with your beliefs.
Create goals that align with your authentic self and dream life because that’s when your life will start to change.
It seems like a lot, but guess what?
Aileen created an all-in-one workbook with exercises to guide you with all your self-development needs on your personal growth journey.
And The Best Part Is…
You can do these exercises in your pajamas!
Aileen’s Artist of Life Workbook comes out with a new edition every year around mid-October. The book is split into three main parts. Bet you know what they are, don’t you? *wink*
Anyway…she gives us plenty of time to fill out the reflection on our current year and what our ideal life looks like. The small exercises she created reflect every area of our lives.
Here’s the catch though…you can fill it out front to back or jump around and fill out what you want when you want to! Bonus: she has a digital version of the workbook too!
One of her favorite exercises (and mine too!) is on pages 15-17, where you draw and describe current versus future you.
Psst: You can sneak-a-peek at it on her YouTube Channel linked in FAQ below!
It feels amazing looking back through your filled out workbook at the end of each year. You really see your growth and realize manifestation is real.
…But It’s Not For Everyone
“Lavendaire is for the passionate, the fearless, and the dreamers who believe. For those who are smart, curious, and the conscious, with an open mind, a love for learning, and a deep desire to live a brilliant and vibrant life. In short, Lavendaire is for the artist of life.” (Aileen Xu, Artist of Life Workbook)
Unless you are Van Gogh or Picasso reborn, artists consistently work to improve their craft. Just like artists, we need to work towards our goals a little bit each day.
So, don’t be discouraged if the results you want don’t hastily appear. Your change will come.
It happens in the small moments and little habits. The ones you overlook and that seem unimportant at the time, but are everything in the masterpiece you’re creating.
So, do you want to live a fuller and happier life? Then check out Aileen’s Artist of Life Workbook, but only if you’re ready for the weight to lift off your soul and to feel better than you ever have before.
Progress Is Better Than Perfection
Even if you don’t get Aileen’s workbook right away (but you really should!), check out her YouTube content over on her channel, Lavendaire. She just celebrated 10 years on YouTube!
She’s got playlist after playlist about self-help exercises, mindfulness practices, guided meditations, breaking down complex personal development concepts, positive affirmations, and pretty much every type of video you can imagine to help reinvent yourself more than ten times over!
So, breathe. Take this one step at a time. Aileen believes in you. Do you believe in yourself?
The fact that you’re even researching personal development content is a step in the right direction. Just remember to breathe and keep moving forward.
You can do this.
